How the meal planner works
- Choosing dishes: click Choose or Swap next to a meal. We suggest recipes that suit it, your favorite recipes and a search of all recipes. You can also add a recipe straight from its page with the “Add to meal plan” button.
- Start: we fill in the soups and main courses from our weekly menu; you choose breakfasts and dinners yourself.
- Suggestion by calories: the “Suggest a week” button puts together a whole week so that every day has roughly the chosen number of calories per person (±10 %), with varied dishes. Ready-made samples: 1,500 kcal meal plan, 1,800 kcal meal plan, 2,000 kcal meal plan.
- Thrifty shopping: when you choose a dish, we first offer recipes that use ingredients already in your meal plan (♻) – you buy less and throw away less.
- The shopping list adds up the ingredients of all dishes and recalculates them for the chosen number of people based on the servings in the recipes. Tick off what you have at home and send the rest to your phone.
- The calories next to each day are approximate, per person, calculated from the ingredients of the recipes (see how we calculate). Recipes without calculated values are not counted.
- Saving: the meal plan is saved in your browser. Send it to your family with the Share button.
- Printing: “Print for the fridge” prints the meal plan on one A4 page, “Print the list” only the shopping list.
