This plum sheet cake is quick to prepare, with a tender batter made from heavy whipping cream, eggs, and semi-coarse wheat flour. Simply whisk all the batter ingredients together, spread in a baking pan, and top with halved plums. You can sprinkle the top with streusel, a crumb topping made from flour, powdered sugar, and butter. This recipe from Grandma Zdenka bakes for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 °C (350 °F).

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Mix all the batter ingredients in a bowl with a whisk or handheld mixer. Spread the batter evenly in a baking pan greased with butter and dusted with flour.
Arrange the washed, halved plums over the batter. Bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for approximately 25–30 minutes. In a larger pan with a thinner layer of batter, the cake will be done sooner; bake a thicker layer longer.
Tip: The cake is even better with streusel. Mix all-purpose flour with powdered sugar and grated butter to form crumbs. Sprinkle over the plums before putting the cake in the oven.
Tip: Arrange the plums close together, cut side up, to keep their juices inside and prevent the batter underneath from becoming soggy. Make the streusel with cold butter for a more tender, crumbly topping.
