This no-bake ostrich egg dessert resembles a large egg with a yolk in the center when sliced. The white layer is cooked with milk, cornstarch, and sugar, while the orange layer is made with orange juice, cornstarch, and sugar. The white pudding is poured into a round bowl first, followed by the orange pudding in the center, without stirring. Once set in the freezer, the dessert is unmolded and generously coated in shredded coconut. The ingredients are inexpensive, and the method is very simple.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Mix the ingredients for each layer separately in two saucepans or skillets. Heat each mixture over low heat until thickened. Pour the white layer into a round bowl.
Pour the orange layer into the center of the white layer without stirring. Cover the surface with plastic wrap and place the bowl in the freezer.
Once set, unmold the dessert from the bowl, sprinkle generously with shredded coconut, and serve.
Tip: Pour in the orange mixture right away, while the white layer is still hot and soft. Pour slowly into the center so it sinks into the white layer like a yolk.
