1. Who sells

Seller: PDP SK s.r.o., Družstevná 393, 972 23 Dolné Vestenice, Slovakia, company ID (IČO) 55 385 001, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Trenčín, section Sro, insert no. 45111/R (“we”). We are not VAT registered.

2. Scope of these terms

These terms govern the sale of the paid products of the Family cookbook on the Domáce recepty websites (domacerecepty.sk, domacerecepty.cz, familyhomerecipes.com, hausgemachte-rezepte.de, naszedomoweprzepisy.pl, hazi-receptek.hu) to consumers resident in the European Union. We do not sell to customers resident outside the EU; a payment with a billing address outside the EU is refunded automatically.

Recipes, your account, transcribing a recipe from a photo, writing recipes and your own photos of dishes are free and are not covered by these terms.

3. The Book and photos product

“Family cookbook – book and photos” for a one-time payment of €6.90 includes:

a printable PDF book of the recipes in your Family cookbook – a cover with a title and your family name, a table of contents and every recipe on its own page. You put the book together in your browser and print it or save it as a PDF from the print window as often as you like;
30 dish illustrations from your recipes. Each illustration is created by artificial intelligence (an OpenAI service) from the name, ingredients and method of the recipe. It is an illustration, not a photo of the dish you cooked, and may not match the result exactly. Every illustration you create counts towards the 30; unused ones do not expire.

The product is linked to the e-mail address of your account and works on every Domáce recepty website where you sign in with the same e-mail.

4. What you need

an account on the website (sign in with your e-mail, Google or Apple),
an up-to-date browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge) with JavaScript enabled.

Recipes in the Family cookbook are stored only in your browser. They are not available on another device or after you clear your browser data – so save your book as a PDF as well.

5. Price and payment

Prices are final. We are not VAT registered; nothing is added to the price and we charge no fee for the payment method.
You pay in advance by card (including Apple Pay or Google Pay) on the secure page of Stripe Payments Europe, Limited. We do not see or store your card details.
We send you a payment confirmation and an invoice by e-mail.

6. How the contract is concluded

You sign in and, when the offer is shown in the Family cookbook, confirm your consent to immediate delivery (section 8) and that you acknowledge how the illustrations are created (section 3).
The “Buy for €6.90” button takes you to the Stripe payment page, which shows the product and price; there you confirm that you have read these terms.
You can correct mistakes (for example, a wrong e-mail address) before paying – close the payment page or go back.
The contract is concluded when you pay with the “Pay” button (an order with an obligation to pay).

The contract is concluded in the language of the website on which you buy. We keep a record of the order and send you its content, including these terms, by e-mail.

7. Delivery

We make the product available in your account immediately after payment: the book and illustrations are unlocked on the Family cookbook page. We will also send you an e-mail with the order number, confirmation of the contract and of your consent to immediate delivery, and these terms.

8. Withdrawal from the contract

For a contract concluded at a distance you generally have the right to withdraw without giving any reason within 14 days of concluding the contract. For digital content, you lose this right once delivery has begun, if you previously expressly consented to delivery starting before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you were informed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (Section 19(1)(m) of Slovak Act No. 108/2024 Coll.). You give this consent when the offer is shown, before you pay, and the product cannot be bought without it. Delivery begins immediately after payment, so you cannot withdraw after paying. This does not affect your rights in the event of defects (section 9).

If you still want to withdraw (for example if delivery has not started), use the Withdraw from contract here function or the model form below. We will immediately send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your withdrawal with its content, date and time. If the withdrawal is valid, we will refund your payment within 14 days using the same payment method, free of charge.

9. Defects and complaints

We are liable for the digital content for 2 years from its delivery (Section 852h of the Slovak Civil Code). If something does not work – for example the book was not unlocked or an illustration cannot be created – write to info@domacerecepty.sk or call +421 915 183 987. We will confirm receipt of your complaint and remedy the defect within 30 days at the latest. If that is not possible, you are entitled to a proportionate price reduction or to terminate the contract (Section 852l of the Slovak Civil Code). If a defect appears within 1 year of delivery, it is presumed to have existed at the time of delivery.

An illustration that does not exactly match your dish is not a defect – it is an illustration created by artificial intelligence from the recipe text (section 3), and you expressly acknowledge this before buying.

10. Your recipes and photos

The recipes and photos in your Family cookbook belong to you and stay in your browser. We send them to our server only to transcribe a recipe from a photo and to create an illustration (from the recipe text) – see the privacy policy for details. You may use the illustrations you create for personal purposes, for example in your book. You are responsible for the content you put into the cookbook.

11. Disputes

If you are not satisfied with how we handled a complaint or think we have breached your rights, ask us for redress at info@domacerecepty.sk. If we reject the request or do not reply within 30 days of the date you sent it, you can file an application for alternative dispute resolution with the Slovak Trade Inspection (ars@soi.sk) or with another body on the list of the Slovak Ministry of Economy. The European Consumer Centre in your country can also help you. The procedure is free of charge. You can also go to court.

12. Personal data

How we process personal data when you buy is described in the privacy policy (section “Purchases and payments”).

13. Final provisions

The contract is governed by Slovak law; this does not affect the protection given to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country of your habitual residence. If the terms change, your contract is governed by the terms in force at the time of purchase.

Information on the right of withdrawal

1. Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or e-mail) at: PDP SK s.r.o., Družstevná 393, 972 23 Dolné Vestenice, Slovakia, phone +421 915 183 987, info@domacerecepty.sk. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://familyhomerecipes.com/withdrawal/. If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (by e-mail), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

For the Book and photos pack, the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery of the digital content has begun, because before paying you expressly consented to delivery starting before the end of the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you were informed of the loss of the right of withdrawal.

2. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
