Creamy garlic and Parmesan pasta is a quick dinner for garlic and cheese lovers. Crushed garlic is cooked gently in melted butter for two minutes, then flour, milk, and chicken broth are added and the sauce is cooked until thickened. Grated Parmesan is melted into the sauce, followed by parsley and cooked pasta. The whole meal for four is ready in about 25 minutes.

Instructions

Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions. Melt the butter over low heat, add the crushed garlic, and cook for 2 minutes.

  2. Add the milk, flour, and chicken broth and cook until the sauce thickens. Stir the parsley and cheese into the thickened sauce.

  3. Once the cheese has melted, stir in the pasta.

Tip: Whisk the flour with a little cold milk until smooth so it blends into the remaining liquid without lumps. Add the Parmesan a handful at a time over low heat.
