Fruit-filled puff pastry swirls are a quick sweet pastry made with just a packet of puff pastry and fruit or jam. Puree fruit such as sour cherries, raspberries, or peaches and sweeten as needed, then spread it over the rolled-out pastry and fold the edges toward the center. Cut the pastry into 12 pieces, shape them into swirls, and bake for about 15 minutes at 210°C (410°F). You can also make them with yeast dough, though that will take longer.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Puree your choice of fruit in a blender. If the fruit is tart, sweeten it with sugar as needed. Roll out the pastry and spread it with the filling.
Fold both the right and left sides of the pastry toward the center, as shown in the picture. Press the edges lightly to keep the fruit from leaking out.
Cut the pastry into 12 pieces and coil each piece into a round swirl.
Place the swirls in a baking pan and bake in an oven preheated to 210°C (410°F) for 10 to 15 minutes.
Decorate the baked pastries with chocolate cream or dust with powdered sugar, if desired.
Tip: Simmer the pureed fruit for a few minutes until thick, then let it cool. If the filling is too runny, it will leak out of the pastry and make the bottoms of the swirls soggy.
