These no-bake quark desserts with caramel and ladyfingers are made in teacups, giving everyone an individual serving. Smooth quark, a soft curd cheese, is beaten with sugar and folded into whipped cream. Part of the mixture is flavored with cocoa and set with gelatin. A small glass is pressed into the cocoa layer to create a hollow, and the desserts are refrigerated for an hour to set. Next come the dulce de leche (caramelized sweetened condensed milk) and ladyfingers.

Prepare 1 tbsp gelatin in hot water according to the package directions. Beat the heavy whipping cream with the whipped cream stabilizer until thick. Beat the quark with the sugar, add it to the whipped cream, and gently fold together with a spoon.
Divide the mixture into 2 portions and stir the cocoa powder and gelatin into one portion.
Choose containers according to the size of desserts you want to make, ideally 6 teacups and 6 small glasses. Spoon about 2–3 tbsp of the cocoa cream into the bottom of each teacup. Place a small glass in the center and press it down gently, but not all the way to the bottom. Refrigerate the teacups for about 1 hour.
After an hour, carefully remove the small glasses, using a toothpick to help release them if needed. Fill each hollow with dulce de leche, thinning it with milk if needed to make it pourable. Mix the plain cream with 1 tbsp of prepared gelatin and spoon it over the caramel filling.
Place the ladyfingers on top and refrigerate the desserts for at least 1 hour.
Remove the set desserts from the refrigerator. Heat water in a pot and briefly dip each teacup into it. Loosen the edges with a toothpick and turn out the dessert. Refrigerate for about another half hour, then serve.
Serve the quark desserts with caramel and ladyfingers.
Tip: To remove the small glasses more easily, pour hot water into them for a few seconds. The glass will warm up and release from the cream, leaving a smooth hollow.
