Homemade yeast-dough pizza topped with spicy salami, smoked sausage, ham, bacon, button mushrooms, onions, corn, cherry tomatoes, and chili peppers. With 500 g of all-purpose flour, you can make two pizzas about 30 cm across. The dough rises for an hour, and in a regular oven preheated to 250 °C (480 °F), the crust puffs up and turns golden in 12–15 minutes. Add the cherry tomatoes and chili peppers on top of the cheese so they roast without releasing their juices into the dough. Adjust the heat by choosing how many chili peppers to use and whether to remove their seeds.

Mix and knead the dough
10 minCombine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Add the lukewarm water and 2 tbsp of oil, then knead for 8–10 minutes, until the dough is smooth, elastic, and no longer sticks to your hands. If it is sticky, work in another tbsp of flour.
Let the dough rise
1 hrShape the dough into a ball, cover the bowl with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about an hour, until doubled in size.
Prepare the sauce and toppings
15 minMix the tomato puree with the crushed garlic, salt, and 0.5 tsp of oregano. Slice the salami, sausage, ham, and bacon. Thinly slice the mushrooms and cut the white and red onions into rings. Halve the cherry tomatoes, thinly slice the chili peppers into rings, and drain the corn.
Shape the pizza bases
10 minPreheat the oven thoroughly to 250 °C (480 °F), using conventional (top and bottom heat). Grease two round pizza pans, about 30 cm in diameter, with the remaining tbsp of oil. Divide the dough in half and use your fingers to stretch each half directly in a pan, leaving the edge slightly thicker.
Add the toppings
5 minSpread the sauce over the dough, leaving about a 1 cm border. Sprinkle with half the mozzarella, then arrange the salami, sausage, ham, bacon, mushrooms, onions, and corn on top. Add the remaining mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, and chili peppers, then sprinkle with oregano.
Bake the pizzas
30 minBake the pizza on the lowest oven rack for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and browned in spots. Bake the second pizza the same way. Let each pizza rest for 2 minutes before slicing.
Tip: If you don't have round pizza pans, stretch all the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 3–5 minutes longer. Pat mozzarella packed in brine dry with a paper towel before slicing to keep the center of the pizza dry.
