These savory flower-shaped yeast rolls filled with salami are a variation on familiar salami pinwheels, shaped into flowers instead. Cut thin rounds from a soft yeast dough made with milk, butter, and egg using a cup, then sandwich a slice of salami between each pair. Once sealed and baked at 180°C (350°F), the rolls make an attractive addition to the table. Serve them at parties, gatherings with friends, or as a savory snack.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Add both types of yeast and the remaining dough ingredients to the warm milk. Knead into a dough and let rise in a warm place.
Use a suitable cutter, such as a cup, to cut thin rounds from the dough. Use two rounds for each flower.
Place a slice of salami between each pair of dough rounds and press the edges together to seal.
Make eight cuts in the sealed rounds, running outward from the center toward the edge, but leave the center intact.
Twist each segment 70 degrees to expose the salami. Brush with egg yolk and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (350°F) until golden brown.
Tip: Choose salami slices slightly smaller than the dough rounds so there is a border of dough to press together. Dip the cup in flour when cutting out the rounds to keep the dough from sticking.
