Easy Christmas cookies
Every recipe in this collection has 9 ingredients or fewer and the lowest difficulty rating. Coconut macaroons and meringue cookies take 4 ingredients, butter cutout cookies take 5 and chocolate-orange thumbprints with lard take 6. Also here are white wine cookies and cinnamon cookies, which crack on their own in the oven.
If you’d rather not turn on the oven, choose rum balls, wafer balls with rum and coconut or no-bake wafers with caramel walnut filling. Harder kinds are in fancy Christmas cookies, and the Christmas baking planner shows when to bake which.
