These soft yeast bread rolls are filled with butter, crushed garlic, and fresh herbs. Let the dough rise for about half an hour, then cut it into small circles and shape each with a teaspoon of filling, or spread on the filling, roll up the dough, and slice. Brush the rolls with egg yolk and bake in muffin cups for 20 to 25 minutes at 180 °C (350 °F). Fresh herbs give them a more pronounced flavor and aroma.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Crumble the yeast into the sifted flour, pour in the warm milk, and add the salt, sugar, and oil. Knead into a dough, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes.
Once the dough has risen well, prepare the filling. Mix the herbs, crushed garlic cloves, and softened butter in a bowl.
Roll out the dough and cut out small circles. Place a teaspoon of garlic-herb filling on each circle and fold as shown in the picture. Alternatively, spread the filling over the dough, roll it into a log, and cut into smaller pieces.
Place the rolls in a muffin pan, cover with a kitchen towel, and let rise for a few more minutes. Brush with egg yolk and bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C (350 °F) for 20–25 minutes.
Tip: Keep unused dough in the refrigerator for up to 5 days so you can bake fresh rolls whenever you like. You can also add ham or bacon to the filling.
Tip: After washing the herbs, dry them thoroughly and chop them as finely as possible, as wet herbs would thin the butter filling. Grease the muffin cups so the rolls release easily.
