Míša bars are a homemade version of the popular Czech quark cheese bars, made with quark (farmer's cheese), powdered sugar, orange zest, and gelatin. Beat the mixture until firm, pour it into a small dish lined with parchment paper, and chill for half an hour in the freezer or two hours in the refrigerator. Once set, cut it into bars and coat them in chocolate glaze. You can use honey instead of sugar and pack the bars as a snack for kids.

Mix the quark with the orange zest and powdered sugar. Soak the gelatin sheets in lukewarm water until softened.
Squeeze the water out of the softened gelatin and place it in a small saucepan with a little water. Heat gently, stirring constantly, until dissolved; do not let it boil. Let the dissolved gelatin cool briefly, then stir it into the quark and beat with a mixer until the mixture is firm.
Pour the mixture into a small baking dish lined with parchment paper. Chill until set, at least half an hour in the freezer or 2 hours in the refrigerator.
While the mixture sets, melt the chocolate glaze in a bowl set over a pan of hot water.
Remove the set quark mixture from the dish and cut the slab into bars of your preferred size.
Dip the bars into the chocolate glaze, one at a time.
Tip: First stir a spoonful of the quark mixture into the warm gelatin, then pour it into the remaining mixture; otherwise, the gelatin may set into strands in the cold quark.
