These baked meat patties filled with cheese and cream are an alternative to fried meat patties, made entirely on a sheet pan in the oven. Shape a mixture of ground pork and chicken, onion, and soaked bread into apple-sized nests. Fill the centers with grated hard cheese, cream, eggs, and dill, then bake for 25–30 minutes at 200 °C (400 °F). Serve with potatoes or vegetables.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Mix the ground pork and chicken together and add the chopped onion. Soak the bread in 100 ml of the milk, squeeze it out, and add it to the meat.
Pour the remaining milk into the meat mixture and season with salt and pepper. Shape the mixture into apple-sized balls, make a well in the center of each to form nests, and place them on an oiled sheet pan.
For the filling, combine the sour cream with the eggs, grated cheese, and chopped dill.
Fill the nests with the cheese filling and bake in an oven preheated to 200 °C (400 °F) for 25–30 minutes.
Tip: You can also make this dish with ground beef.
Tip: Do not fill the nests to the rim—the eggs will make the filling expand in the oven, and it could spill onto the sheet pan and burn.
