To make pasta salads in jars, start with dressing at the bottom, add pasta, then top with vegetables, meat, or cheese. Just shake the jar before eating to coat all the ingredients with dressing. This recipe offers four combinations, including Greek yogurt, feta, and dill; chicken and bacon; and tuna, baby spinach, and olives. Keep the prepared jars on hand for whenever you want a quick dinner.

Greek salad
Spoon the yogurt into the bottom of the jar as the first layer, then add the pasta. Layer the chopped cucumbers and tomatoes on top, then finish with the cheese and dill.
Chicken salad
Pour the dressing into the jar first, then layer in the pasta, lettuce leaves, chicken, bacon, and cheese, in that order. Shake the jar several times before serving.
Tuna salad
Pour the dressing into the bottom of the jar, then layer in the pasta, spinach, tuna, olives, and tomatoes, in that order. If you like artichokes, add them as the final layer on top.
Mandarin orange salad
Place the cabbage in the container as the first layer and drizzle with a little soy sauce. Follow with the noodles, peas, mandarin oranges, and finally the green onions.
Tip: After cooking, rinse the pasta with cold water and drain thoroughly so it won't stick together in the jars. Let the chicken and bacon cool completely before adding them to the jars so the leaves don't wilt.
