Zucchini chips with garlic, cheese and dill are thin slices of zucchini baked in the oven with olive oil and herbs. The slices are first tossed with dill, parsley, pressed garlic and seasoning, then baked for about 20 minutes at 200 °C (400 °F). Finally they are sprinkled with grated cheese and baked for five more minutes. They taste good warm or cooled, so they work as a summer snack or a side dish.

Instructions

Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.

  1. Wash the zucchini, trim the ends and cut into slices. Put the slices in a bowl and sprinkle with the chopped dill and parsley.

  2. Drizzle with the olive oil, add the pressed garlic and the seasonings. Mix thoroughly so the seasoning reaches every slice.

  3. Line a baking sheet or baking dish with parchment paper and spread the zucchini slices on it. Bake at 200 °C (400 °F) for about 20 minutes. Then take them out, sprinkle with the grated cheese and bake for 5 more minutes.

Tip: Cut the slices evenly thin, ideally with a vegetable slicer, and arrange them side by side on the baking sheet, not on top of each other – otherwise they steam instead of browning.
