These cream and Hera cookies are little treats to serve with coffee, made with just three basic ingredients: all-purpose flour, Hera baking margarine, and whipping cream. After resting the dough, roll it out and cut out shapes, shape it into crescents, or press it through a cookie grinder. Coat the baked cookies in powdered sugar mixed with vanilla sugar, and sandwich them with jam if you like. This recipe comes from Lucia K. and is also suitable for a holiday cookie platter.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Work all the ingredients into a smooth, uniform dough and let it rest for 45–60 minutes. Roll it out into a thin sheet on a work surface and cut out various shapes. Alternatively, press the dough through a cookie grinder to shape different cookies.
You can also shape the dough into simple crescents. Bake at 150°C (300°F) until the tops are golden.
Coat the baked cookies in a mixture of powdered sugar and vanilla sugar.
Tip: You can also add sugar to the dough, but you will need to add more whipping cream as well.
Tip: Let the wrapped dough rest in the refrigerator so the Hera firms up, making the dough easier to roll and less sticky. Use thick jam to sandwich the cookies; runny jam would leak out.
