This egg, mustard, and oil marinade takes five minutes to mix and is especially good for grilling. Mix the ingredients thoroughly, including the cornstarch, salt, and your favorite seasoning, then add half a kilo of sliced meat. Ideally, let it marinate in the refrigerator overnight and cook it within two days, perhaps in batches for lunch and dinner. Sprinkle the meat with sesame seeds as it cooks in a hot skillet or on the grill.

Instructions

Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.

  1. Mix the marinade ingredients thoroughly and add the meat. Cover the bowl and let the meat marinate in the refrigerator, preferably overnight. Because the marinade contains raw eggs, cook the meat within 2 days. The U.S. Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) recommends marinating chicken in the refrigerator for no more than 2 days.

  2. Place the meat in a hot skillet or on a hot grill, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and cook on both sides until cooked through in the center. Discard the marinade left in the bowl, since it contains raw meat and egg.

Tip: Thin, evenly sliced meat will cook through in the skillet before the egg coating burns. Turn the slices only once the coating has set and turned golden.
