Baked cauliflower florets with cheese and paprika are a crispy, oven-baked alternative to fried cauliflower. The florets are boiled in salted water for four to five minutes, then immediately cooled under cold water. They are then dipped in beaten eggs and coated in a mixture of breadcrumbs, finely grated cheese, sweet paprika, garlic granules, salt, and pepper. Baked on an oiled baking sheet for 15 to 20 minutes at 200 °C (400 °F), they work as either a side dish or a meal on their own for four.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
- Wash the cauliflower, break it into small florets, and boil in salted water for 4–5 minutes. Drain and immediately rinse under cold running water.
- In a large bowl, mix the finely grated cheese with the breadcrumbs, salt, black pepper, garlic granules, and paprika. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs thoroughly.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly brush the paper with vegetable oil.
- Dip the cauliflower florets in the eggs, then coat them in the cheese and breadcrumb mixture and arrange on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (400 °F) for about 15–20 minutes.
Tip: Dry the florets thoroughly after rinsing, since the egg and coating will not stick to wet cauliflower. Turn them halfway through baking so the coating browns on the bottom, too.
