Baked potato slices are a quick snack for guests, made with just one large potato and a few toppings of your choice. Slice the unpeeled potato thinly, drizzle with olive oil, and bake for about 20 minutes at 180 °C (350 °F), then add the toppings and bake for another five minutes. For a meatless version, spread with sour cream mixed with cheese, garlic, and basil; for a pizza version, use tomato sauce, ham, corn, and cheese. If you don't have sour cream, use oil mixed with garlic, salt, and basil.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Leave the potato unpeeled and cut it into thin slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 °C (350 °F) for about 20 minutes, until the slices are cooked through. Add your choice of toppings and bake for another 5 minutes.
For a meatless version, mix sour cream with a little grated cheese, garlic, and basil.
For a pizza version, use tomato sauce, cheese, ham, and pizza seasoning.
Tip: Choose a waxy or all-purpose potato (Slovak cooking type A or B) so the baked slices hold their shape and don't break when topped. Keep the toppings toward the center so the melted cheese doesn't run off the edges onto the parchment paper.
