Prepare the ingredients
Cut the cheese into cubes about 2 cm wide. Rinse and dry the grapes, cherry tomatoes, and basil. Drain the mozzarella in a strainer. Cut the pickles into thick rounds.
Cheese and grapes
Thread a grape onto a skewer, followed by a cheese cube underneath it.
Ham and pickles
Cut the ham slices in half, roll up each half, and thread it onto a skewer with a pickle round.
Mozzarella and tomatoes
Thread a cherry tomato, a basil leaf, and a mozzarella ball onto a skewer.
Salami and olives
Fold a slice of salami into quarters or roll it into a cone, then thread it onto a skewer with an olive.
Serve
Arrange the skewers on a tray or board and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until ready to serve, then take them out about 15 minutes before serving so the cheese is not cold.
Tip: Pat the olives and pickle slices dry with paper towels before threading them onto the skewers so the brine does not drip onto the tray or make the ham and salami soggy.
