These tortilla pinwheels with ham, cheese, and vegetables are a cold appetizer you can prepare in about 20 minutes without cooking. Briefly warm two large tortillas in the microwave to make them pliable, then layer them with spreadable butter, ham, cheese slices, iceberg lettuce leaves, and cherry tomatoes. Secure the tightly rolled tortillas with toothpicks before slicing into pinwheels to keep them from falling apart.
Serve them at parties, with wine, or alongside open-faced sandwiches.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
- Place the tortillas in a plastic bag, sprinkle lightly with water, close the bag, and microwave for about 1 minute. Carefully remove them and lay them on a work surface, overlapping them slightly.
- Spread a thin layer of spreadable butter over the tortillas and top with ham and cheese. Spread with another layer of butter, arrange the lettuce leaves on top, and spread with butter again. Arrange the tomatoes in two rows along the entire length.
- Roll the tortillas up tightly. Insert sturdy toothpicks into the roll about 1–1.5 cm apart, then use a sharp knife to cut between them into pinwheels.
Tip: Dry the lettuce leaves thoroughly after washing; otherwise, the tortillas will become soggy and the pinwheels will fall apart. You can wrap the roll in plastic wrap and refrigerate it for half an hour so the butter firms up and the slices cut more neatly.
