Crisp milk cookies are simple cutout cookies made with butter, sugar, eggs, milk, and all-purpose flour, with a nostalgic childhood flavor. The dough comes together by mixing the ingredients one at a time in a single bowl, then is rolled out right away to a thickness of five to seven millimeters. Cut the cookies into any shapes you like and bake for 20–25 minutes at 180°C (350°F). Children will especially enjoy them.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Cream the butter with the powdered sugar and vanilla sugar. Add the eggs and mix well again.
Pour in the milk and mix. Add the baking powder and flour and mix to form a dough.
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5–7 mm and cut out the cookies.
Arrange the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 180°C (350°F) for approximately 20–25 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
Tip: Leave small gaps between the cookies on the baking sheet, as they expand a little in the oven. Once cooled, store them in a cookie tin away from soft baked goods, or they will soften.
