These puff pastry pizza twists are crisp, savory breadsticks filled with a blended mixture of ham, cheese, onion, and ketchup. Spread the filling over half of the rolled-out pastry, fold the other half over it, then cut into strips and twist. Before baking, brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds or grated cheese. Bake for 15 minutes at 180 °C (350 °F) and serve with garlic dip.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Place the onion, ham, sliced cheese, and ketchup in a blender and blend into a pizza filling. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Roll out the puff pastry to a thickness of 3 mm.
Spread the filling over one half of the pastry, fold the other half over it, and cut into strips with a pastry wheel. Twist each strip into a spiral and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds; sprinkle the twists on the second baking sheet with grated cheese.
Bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for 10–15 minutes.
Tip: Before cutting, gently roll over the folded pastry with a rolling pin to seal the halves so they do not separate when twisted. Press the ends of the twists onto the baking sheet to keep them from unwinding during baking.
