This chicken roulade with ham, eggs, and white wine is made with chicken breasts cut lengthwise and filled with pressed ham and sliced boiled eggs. The rolls are tied tightly with kitchen twine and baked in foil for 30 minutes at 180 °C (350 °F). They are then brushed with honey, moistened with wine and water, and baked uncovered, basting with the pan juices. Once cool, they are sliced and served with bell pepper and horseradish, for example on a cold platter.

Boil the eggs for 10 minutes, then peel and cut into medium-thick slices.
Gently pat the chicken breasts dry and pound them if needed. Cut lengthwise without cutting all the way through so they can be filled. Season both sides with salt and pepper, top with the ham and eggs, roll up tightly, and tie with kitchen twine.
Brush aluminum foil with oil, place the rolls on it, wrap them in the foil, and transfer to a roasting pan. Bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, brush the chicken with honey, pour the wine and water over it, and continue baking until nicely browned. Baste with the pan juices as it bakes.
Let the baked rolls cool, remove the twine, and slice. Serve garnished with bell pepper and horseradish.
Tip: Use cotton kitchen twine to tie the rolls, as synthetic twine would melt in the oven. Chill the cooled roulade in the refrigerator for a little while to firm it up so the slices stay neat and the eggs stay in place.
