This savory breakfast bake with ham, pickles and cheese is a simple bake made from a single batter with all the ingredients mixed in. Whisk the eggs with salt and pepper, add grated cheese, chopped ham, pickles and sweet red pepper, then gradually add milk, baking powder and flour. Pour the thick batter into a baking pan and bake for about half an hour at 180°C (350°F). Serve it for breakfast, as a snack or on an outing.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Coarsely grate the cheese. Cut the pickles, sweet red pepper and ham into small pieces.
In a large bowl, beat the eggs with a fork and season with salt and pepper to taste. Add the prepared ingredients, gradually pour in the milk, then add the baking powder and flour and mix into a thick batter. Pour into a baking pan.
Bake at 180°C (350°F) for about half an hour.
Tip: For the original version, use 200 ml milk and 200 ml oil instead of 400 ml milk. Use only milk for a less greasy, fluffy and tender bake.
Tip: Grease and flour the baking pan before pouring in the batter, or the melted cheese will stick to the sides. If taking the bake on an outing, let it cool completely before wrapping it to prevent condensation.
