Portuguese-style roasted new potatoes are a simple side dish made with small potatoes boiled in their skins, then roasted with butter, garlic, and rosemary. Place the boiled potatoes in a greased baking dish, score the tops, and brush with a mixture of melted butter, chopped garlic, coarse salt, and fresh rosemary. Bake at 200 °C (400 °F) for 15 to 20 minutes.
Serve with meat or on their own for dinner.

Instructions
Tip: tap a step to mark it as done.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly and boil them in salted water with their skins on. Peel and finely chop the garlic.
Grease a baking dish with olive oil or sunflower oil and arrange the boiled potatoes in it. Score the tops of the potatoes.
In a bowl, mix the melted butter with the chopped garlic, salt, and rosemary. Brush the mixture over the tops of the potatoes.
Place the potatoes in a preheated oven and bake at 200 °C (400 °F) for 15–20 minutes.
Tip: Boil the new potatoes just until a fork slides in easily; overcooked potatoes would split when scored. Finely chop the rosemary needles, as whole needles are tough and prickly.
